    We purchased a top of the line fridge from Sears and the extended warranty and are having issues with repairs. Service people either do not show up at the scheduled time (after we have taken time off work to be home) or they show up with the wrong parts. Calls to the Sears service line yield few results other than the very heart felt "I'm sorry". Requests to escalate are met with "there is no supervisor here to talk to" or the service person simply hangs up.   • Sears broken built-in 48 inches Kitchenaid refrigerator



    We bought a top of the line Kitchen Aid built-inn fridge from Sears 6 years ago and bought all the protection plans with it. It is still under protection plan. The fridge was worth $7000 dollars when bought. it broke down 6 weeks ago and since then we have been banging our head with Sears repair services and Protection plan agreement and Sears has been sending people to repair, order parts etc. etc. Every time a repair man comes and mentions a new problem and orders another part and we wait for weeks for it to arrive.   • Free shipping Weekend Family Weekend



    They advertise free shipping for this Family weekend only but then exclude many items. The Bistro set I was interested in ordering for my parents met their criteria of being under 65 lbs and less than 78 inches and 118 inches in girth but did not qualify for the free shipping. Sales person claimed it only applies to shoes and clothing etc. You would need to order an awful lot to reach 65 lbs. Seems like false advertising to me. More...

  • Sears LG Fridge Icemaker/Freezer Problems



    Our LG Fridge stopped making ice in early Jul and the freezer was not getting cold enough to keep ice cream, as we had extended warranty with Sears we called them, they showed up on July 20 said they had to replace the ice maker and that would fix everything. Since then they have been here at least 6 times, replacing the ice maker yet again and when that did not work they changed the mother-board, which did not work either.
